A yellow weather warning has been issued for coastal overtopping overnight.
Ronaldsway Met Office says the warning runs from 8.30pm until 11am on Thursday.
Strong winds could mean water and debris washing onto exposed roads at high tides tonight and tomorrow morning.
Promenades in Castletown and Douglas, as well as Shore Road in Rushen, will be most at risk.
