Met Office cautiously optimistic for rest of summer

While many Manx people have been left wondering if we’ll be robbed of another summer the Met Office has issued 3FM some cautious optimism.

Having endured the wettest June since 1947, July hasn't been any better with torrential rain and gale-force winds battering the island for most of the past nine days.

However, Colin Garshaw from the Ronaldsway office says this kind of disruption can’t last forever, although he isn’t too hopeful for the week ahead (see audio):
