A woman from Liverpool has admitted trying to smuggle nearly £50,000 off the Island.
31 year old Amanda Patricia Done from West Derby in Merseyside appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
Customs officers stopped her at the Sea Terminal on October 25 and found the cash in a JD Sports bag inside her Fiat Punto.
She's pleaded guilty to attempting to remove £47,894 of criminal property.
Done was committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery for sentencing and remanded in custody.
