Mental Health Rehabilitation Centre Opens
The Department of Health and Social Security officially opened the Island’s new mental health Rehabilitation Centre yesterday on the grounds of Nobles Hospital.
The building is a major step forward in the way the Island tackles mental health problems.
The centre will repatriate locals currently in care in the UK as they begin the transition back into the community.
Once a service user has completed their time at the centre its hoped they will feel enabled and empowered to lead an independent lifestyle.
