A mental health nurse from the Island has been given a five year caution order by his professional body after a misconduct charge against him was proven.
Martin Thomas Greenhalgh faced the allegations from the Nursing and Midwifery Council's fitness to practice committee.
The committee said a patient had killed themselves at Grianagh Court in November 2014 - but despite telling Mr Greenhalgh they were having suicidal thoughts he didn't raise concerns with the ward doctor or record the details.
He admitted the charge: the NMC committee said his actions had contributed to the patient's death.
