A memorial to mark the Summerland disaster will take place this week.
Douglas Council has organised a special service at 7pm on Thursday, August 2 at the Kaye Memorial Garden on Queen's Promenade in Douglas.
Mayor of Douglas Jon Joughin will preside over the proceedings to honour the 50 people who tragically died in 1973, when the seven-storey leisure complex was destroyed by a fire.
The Mayor will deliver a speech and lay a wreath in memory of those who were killed.
