Police are investigating after a memorial bench in Ramsey has been vandalised.
Officer say sometime over the past month or so, the engraved plaque on the bench at Ramsey Hairpin has been ripped off and discarded nearby.
Authorities say the bench has been in place for around 20 years and not only provides a pleasant place for residents to sit but a lasting memorial for the family of a lost loved one.
As a result, the constabulary is keen to speak to anyone was has any details about this act of criminal damage - those who think they could help are asked to contact their nearest police station.
