Oxygen therapy had to be given to a resident at a Douglas flat this morning after they inhaled smoke.
It followed a fire on Douglas Head Road just before 10am.
Firefighters were called to the Archers Apartments after a plastic pan handle melted on a hob.
The owner had isolated the power to the hob and extinguished the blaze – firefighters cleared the smoke and helped the resident of a neighboring flat who’d inhaled some.
