A meeting has been called to discuss changes to the public shelter on Laxey Promenade.
Garff Commissioners announced plans in July to alter the use of the shelter, which has previously been used by the Laxey Beach Stop Café.
A petition was then set up to stop the local authority, which has over 5,000 signatures.
The meeting will take place at the Laxey Working Men's Institute at 7pm on Thursday January 5.
