The Manx Emergency Doctors Service will close overnight for a period of 12 weeks.
Manx Care says the service will be unavailable between the hours of midnight and 8am from January 8 to the end of March.
The change is due to recent staffing issues and a reduction in demand during these hours.
During the closure there will be an on-call GP available to support the Ambulance Service and Hospice if required.
The health body also says from mid-January there will be an extra locum GP during the day.
