The Chief Minister was today asked about the measures being
taken to freeze the assets held on the Island by Colonel Gaddafi and his
family.
The Chief Minister responded saying since 27th
February 10 separate pieces of legislation relating to Libya have been
introduced.
The legislation, which saw the assets frozen of Gadaffi, his
family and those close to him, came into force on March 10th.
They have also responded to an updated list of additional
persons and entities from the United Nations, freezing their assets at the end
