Would-be MHKs are being invited to meet local charities to hear about the issues facing them.
Organisations such as Crossroads, The Children's Centre, Victim Support, Age Concern, and the Island's Foodbank will be on hand to chat to candidates.
The informal session will give prospective candidates the chance to find out more about what the bodies do and the challenges they face.
The event is taking place from 2pm on Monday, August 24 at the Children's Centre on the Old Castletown Road.
