Hopes 23-time TT winner John McGuinness will be fit enough to race during this year's TT are in doubt after a medical setback.
The Morecambe Missile sustained a compound fracture of his leg during last year's North West 200 and spent months wearing a cage.
That was removed in March, leading to hopes he'd be well enough to ride during this year's festival.
But on Twitter last night he said his injury had flared back up, putting his TT appearance in doubt.
Not sure what to say...unfortunately my leg has had a bit of set back, sorry not said sooner...Iv just been trying to get my head around it all 1st !!! To say I'm gutted is an understatement ??
