
Former footballer Frank McAvennie will stand trial in the Isle of Man in January.
The 48 year old ex-Celtic player denies affray and disorderly conduct.
He was arrested in July after he was allegedly involved in a fight outside a Douglas bar.
He’d been on the Island to play in a Manchester United versus Liverpool legends match when he was involved in the brawl.
The case will be heard on 12th January.
A local man also denies charges in relation to the same incident.
