The number of companies being removed from the Island's company register is at its highest for a decade, it's been revealed.
Douglas North MHK David Ashford put a question for written reply to Enterprise Minister Tim Johnston about the number of companies being removed.
Last year, 2,413 companies were taken off the register - while so far this year that figure's reached 6,129.
Mr Johnston says the registry is reviewing all companies and removing names that are no longer trading.
