It's being called a challenge of mind and body - and one man intends to nail it this weekend.
Martin Malone plans to swim across six of the island's main bays in one day.
It means covering a total distance of about 10 km in Gansey, Castletown, Port Erin, Peel, Laxey and Douglas.
Martin's raising funds for Omnia Mind’s Expedition Limitless.
The project will give 12 local youngsters the opportunity to take part in an expedition above the Arctic Circle next year.
They'll be raising funds for mental health charity, Isle Listen.
You can donate to Martin's Six Bay challenge on his fundraising page where every pound raised will be matched by the Z Zurich Foundation.
