Married couple who died in three-car smash named

Police have named the married couple who were killed in a three-vehicle crash in the north of the Island on Monday.

They were Daphne and James Tait who lived in Jurby. 
 
The crash - involving a silver Honda Jazz, a black VW Golf and a grey Peugeot 3008 - happened at 12.35pm on the main Ramsey to Sulby Road at Churchtown in Lezayre. 
 
Mrs Tait, who was 79, died at the scene - her husband died at Noble's Hospital. 
 
Officers have renewed appeals for witnesses saying they still want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the crash.
