Mark Cavendish has been named Sportsman of the Year at the Isle of Man Bank Sports Awards.
The cyclist was presented with the accolade after a successful 2013 which saw him claim the red jersey in the Giro D’Italia.
In doing so he became the fifth rider in history to complete the hat trick of wins in the three Grand Tour events.
Sportswoman of the Year went to 16-yar-old equestrian rider Yasmin Ingham for her double gold medal winning performance in the European Pony Championship.
