The derelict Marine Biological Station in Port Erin could get a new lease of life if planning permission is granted.
Sea Breezes has applied for full approval for the erection of a new marine interpretation centre.
The original planning application was submitted last year – a revised copy will now go before the Council Of Ministers.
Under the new plans the building on Breakwater Road would also have retail units, a cafe, dive centre and offices for marine related business.
Sea Breezes has declined to comment further on the plans at this time.
