Marine Drive in Braddan could become a pedestrian and cycling only zone.
Government wants to consult residents on proposals to close the stretch to vehicles to encourage people to exercise more and actively travel.
Officials say, if approved, it would mean those using the area on foot or bicycle would be able to exercise on one of the most picturesque stretches of road free from concern of vehicles.
Residents can submit their views by e-mailing doiconsultation@gov.im before the deadline on April 6.
Alternatively, people can also send their thoughts by post to Oliver McGowan, Research and Analysis Officer, Highway Services Division, Department of Infrastructure, Sea Terminal, Douglas, IM1 2RF
