Young people struggling with conventional schooling are being offered help through a new educational programme involving animals.
Isle of Man College and Ballakermeen students can now spend some of their time working towards certificates in areas of animal care at the ManxSPCA.
The scheme - which has been sponsored by Barclays - is designed to encourage them to develop their self-confidence, communication and interpersonal skills through interaction with the animals.
