The Island's Steam Packet has issued an 'update' for those eager to travel on our new vessel - the Manxman.
In a statement, the company says the Manxman's first passenger sailing is now 'weeks rather than months away.'
However, Steam Packet Managing Director Brian Thomson says they 'won't rush things to have the vessel in service before it is ready.'
It comes following the news the Manxman has now completed berthing trials in Douglas and Heysham and made an initial visit to Belfast.
