Manx Utilities is warning motorists specialist equipment it needs to upgrade sewage treatment in the west will be on the roads tomorrow.
A piling rig on low loaders is due to leave Douglas at 9.30am and will take around an hour and a half to reach its site off Glenfaba Road in Peel.
The low loaders will then set off from Peel, bound for Douglas, at midday.
The abnormal load was due to travel today but was rescheduled because of weather-related ferry disruption.
