Turbine blades for the proposed Cair Vie windfarm could be temporarily stored at the Summerland site.
Recently released documents show the site has been identified as suitable for the purpose.
Under the Manx Utilities plans, the parts would be brough there using a flatbed transporter truck.
A blade-lifter would then be needed to bring the pieces from Douglas to the windfarm's planned location at Earystane.
