Hundreds of people each year go on to higher education from the Isle of Man, and the Manx Government pay for tuition fee's.
They are set to rise by upto three times, meaning students in the England could be forced to pay up to £9,000 a year.
Education and Children Minister MHK Eddie Teare says that for next year Government will provide funds for all people going to University.
He said the only change is that the A Level grade's have to be slightly higher to be eligible for the award.
