A Manx teenager is facing jail after falsely accusing a man of being one of James Bulgers' killers.
Wayne Dale from Lonan is the first person to be prosecuted in connection with attempts to unmask the murderers.
The 19-year-old wrote comments on Facebook which claimed a member of staff at B&Q on the the Isle of Man was Robert Thompson.
Robert Thompson and Jon Venables were given new identities when they were released from custody in 2001.
Internet rumours then swept the Island that the killer was living here. Police traced the comments back to Dale and he was arrested.
19 Year old Wayne will be sentenced at Douglas Courthouse today.
