A new support group has been launched for people with head and neck cancers.
Noble’s Hospital's Ear, Nose and Throat Department started the group to bring patients together so they could share their experiences.
Each condition and its treatment has serious side effects; like difficulties in swallowing, eating, drinking and speech.
Organiser of 'The Manx Swallows' John Beckett says the success of UK models and extensive research shows that new patients find the support very useful.
