 
                            Manx support to Sierra Leone has helped cut out illegal fishing in coastal communities earning $16 million for the country.
Government has provided a fisheries protection vessel and on-going advice to Sierra Leone, as well as the installation of a satellite monitoring system for the fishing fleet there.
The help has contributed to an estimated 35 per cent increase in local fish landings for the country’s fishermen.
