The Department of Health are urging Manx residents to look out for vulnerable people in the community as the bitter winter weather kicks in.
Temperatures are hovering at just over freezing point over the next few days. People are being urged to remember the needs of friends, elderly relatives and neighbours who could be at risk during the cold weather.
Health services are expected to be busier than usual, people are asked not to call 999 unless it is an emergency.
