Manx Labour Party member Carol Quine has declared her intention to stand in this year's General Election.
She's hoping to take one of the two available seats in the new constituency of Arbory, Castletown and Malew in September.
The Castletown commissioner says she wants to see a return of free tram and train travel for pensioners and to see greater support for farmers and fishermen.
