Manx Gas says it's completed major gas works in Douglas four weeks early.
The company has been carrying out extensive work on Bucks Road since the start of March.
However the road reopened fully on Saturday evening.
The company has thanked people for their "patience and consideration" describing it as an "important infrastructure project".
