An Island designer is flying the Manx flag in the UK fashion and costume design industries.
UCM alumna Shannen Samuel studied its Art Foundation Course and now has a career in sustainable fashion, including showcasing a TT-inspired recycled collection at New York Fashion Week.
Shannen now works in film costume design and is Creative Director of 'bleaq', a platform for emerging sustainable designers.
She is currently designing costumes for a Manx folklore-inspired short film, set to be filmed on the Island later this year.
