A duo of £50 silver crowns commissioned by the government were presented in London this week to mark the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day.
Treasury Minister, Alf Cannan MHK, attended the occasion at the Ministry of Defence in Whitehall on Monday with UK Chief of Defence Staff, Sir Nick Carter, and Secretary of State for Defence, Gavin Williamson.
The occasion was to recognise the close ties between the UK and the Island, and to commemorate the losses both sustained during the Great War.
Minister Cannan added it was an 'honour' to represent the Manx government.
