Manx Care's Operating Theatres Department has been recognised for its 'gold standard' of practice.
The Association for Perioperative Practice has awarded the department accreditation.
Since the Association's last visit, it was noted that there had been significant work undertaken regarding the culture within the department, and the 'importance of patient care was evident.'
