Manx Care says its chair will step down from the role later this year.
Professor Wendy Reid took the top job in February 2024 and is a former advisor to the UK government.
Her leaving date hasn't yet been released.
She's the second senior figure in the organisation to announce they're leaving in the past two weeks, after chief executive Teresa cope announced she was leaving Manx Care.
