Health Minister Claire Christian says the Island's contract with the Great North Air Ambulance Service has run out - and she doesn't know when or if there'll be a new one.
In Tynwald this week, she faced questions about the future of the Island's air ambulance link to the UK from Arbory Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse.
He wanted more details about the contract and ongoing negotiations to renew it.
Mrs Christian said Manx Care had met the service over paying a retainer of almost £21,000 a month:
