Manx Care's outgoing director of operations Shaun Stacey has pointed the finger at politicians for the Island's ongoing healthcare problems.
He's the third high-profile figure at the organisation to leave this year, after chief executive Teresa Cope and chair Professor Wendy Reid announced they'd be leaving.
In a post on LinkedIn, he says "Politics should set the destination. It shouldn't keep grabbing the steering wheel, shouting directions and then blaming the driver when the car ends up in a ditch."
He also criticised funding plans, saying politicians shouldn't be surprised there are problems if they don't provide enough money to run the service properly.
