The Manx-based owner of a Premiership football club says it will continue to support the team if it's relegated this season.
Everton Football Club's latest financial report says Blue Horizon Investments, which has its registered offices in Upper Church Street in Douglas, owns 94.1 per cent of the club.
And as the team lies third from bottom, the report says Blue Horizon is supportive, but its support isn't legally or contractually binding.
The document says Blue Horizon has written to the club offering 12 months of financial support if relegation does happen.
