Member of Archery Team Says It Will be a Huge Blow if Games Folded
Amid major controversy and health and safety concerns team Isle of Man will depart for the Commonwealth Games in Delhi tomorrow.
As one of the first nations to arrive at the Games the team will be staying in the area of the athletes village which is now totally completed, it will be a different story for those arriving mid-week however.
On top of the accomodation issues there have also been major health and safety concerns that led to one of the Island's main medal hopes, Peter Kennaugh, to pull out.
Archer Adrian Bruce will be one of the departing 32 athletes, he said whereas he doesn't want to be taking any unneccessary risks it would be a major blow to both he and his fellow athletes if they were forced to withdraw following all of the hard training.
