The main road through Laxey has been closed this morning after a body was discovered in a yard overnight.
3FM's reporter Ben Sowrey was on the scene. He said police are diverting all traffic and there are numerous police cars and vans blocking the road.
He was told that a man's body was discovered in the early hours of this morning. Details of how the body was discovered and in what conditions are unknown.
New Road Laxey is still closed from its juntions with Minorca Hill and Old Laxey Hill. That was closed off at 07:30Hrs this morning. (Sunday)
Captains Hill is also closed from its juntions with New Road and Chruch Hill, it's understood the body was found in that area.
Public Transport has also been affected, buses are being diverted over the Mountain and the trams have been suspended.
Police have told 3FM that is expected to stay that way for some time.
The incident is still on - going so people are being advised to avoid the area.
