The Manannan will be settling in Isle of Man waters this winter.
The fast craft is being moored in Douglas Harbour ahead of its annual overhaul before it returns to service on March 27, 2020.
The vessel had just over a 98 per cent punctuality record during summer - covering nearly 52,000 nautical miles in 759 journeys.
The Ben-my-Chree will be running during the winter months with Manannan on stand-by - the MV Arrow is being made available to support freight transport.
