A man who admitted brandishing an axe during a row with TT marshals will be sentenced next month.
Kristopher Robert Goldie of Poortown in Peel was excused attendance during a hearing before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 27 year old previously pleaded guilty to driving his car on roads closed for racing and using provoking behaviour on June 2.
He threatened to start a fire and locked himself in a camper van near the course after marshals went to talk to him about driving the wrong way around the TT course - he later told police he wanted to visit his grandmother and didn’t know the roads were shut.
Mrs Hughes bailed him until he’s due to be sentenced on August 20.
