A man who denies assaulting a woman is due to appear in court again in June.
Christopher Quilliam of Watterson Close in Douglas appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse via a live video link from prison.
The 50 year old denies attacking the woman on May 6.
There was no bail application and he was remanded in custody until his next appearance on June 9.
