A Douglas man’s appeared in court to deny attacking a man with a glass bottle.
36 year old Carl Joseph Bridson of Somerset Road appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
He denies assault causing actual bodily harm on October 30.
The court heard Bridson launched the attack in a health centre car park, launching a flurry of punches to the man’s head.
He’s also said to have hit his alleged victim unintentionally with a glass bottle during the incident.
He was bailed and is next due in court on February 16 for a pre-trial review hearing.
