The man charged with running down a police officer will appear in court again today.
31 year old Benjamin Philip Haslam was arrested after a search for the driver of a car which ran into PC Andy Morgan, dragging him down Mona Drive.
As a result the officer suffered a broken collarbone and other injuries. He’s now recovering at home.
Haslam is charged with GBH with intent. The 31 year old also faces charges for driving while disqualified and also with no insurance.
