An Onchan man has been ordered to keep the peace after smashing a window during a drunken tussle.
32-year-old Nicholas Derek Jones, of Fairfield Avenue, got into an argument with another man on Victoria Street in Douglas on June 29th.
After calling him derogatory names the pair became embroiled in a physical altercation that ended up with both crashing through an estate agent's window.
At Douglas Courthouse yesterday/on Thursday/earlier this week/last week Jones was handed a Bind Over Order and told he must be of good behaviour for the next 12 months.
A charge of provoking behaviour was withdrawn.
