A woman was bombarded with abusive messages by a man who threatened to post explicit images of her online.
Cameron Cooper, of Hope Street in Castletown, appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
The 20-year-old admitted domestic abuse between October last year and March this year.
The court heard Cooper sent the woman dozens of messages and threatened to post intimate photos to a chat group.
The case was adjourned until May 28 for a social enquiry report and Cooper was bailed on condition he doesn't contact the woman.
