A man made unfounded claims of corruption against a police officer and threatened to kill her horse, a court's heard.
Jason Brown, of Empress Drive in Douglas, appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 44-year-old admitted harassment and threats to destroy property after making a number of 999 calls and sending emails on February 10 and 11 falsely claiming the officer smoked cannabis and turned a blind eye to drugs.
He also threatened to "feed foxglove" to the victim's horse and kill it.
The case was adjourned until April 4 for a social enquiry report - bail was refused and Brown was remanded in custody.
