A man who’s said to have assaulted a police officer in an incident in central Douglas has been bailed.
Gary John Beattie of Belmont Terrace in Douglas appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
He hasn’t yet entered pleas to assaulting a police officer, misusing a telecommunications service, using provoking behaviour, and resisting police on Coronation Terrace on March 1.
The 45 year old was bailed in the sum of £500 on condition he doesn’t enter Lord Street between Ridgeway Street and Duke Street, and obeys a 10pm to 6am curfew.
