A man’s admitted damaging a CCTV camera as he drunkenly tried to burgle a petrol station in Ramsey.
Ryan Anthony David Langton of The Bretney in Jurby appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse via a live videolink.
The 26-year-old pleaded guilty to attempted burglary and criminal damage at the Spar filling station in Parliament Square on October 11.
The court heard he’d tried to break into the building through its back door just before 1am but left empty-handed.
A bail application was refused and Langton was remanded in custody to appear again for sentencing on December 7.
